Tip cleaner

The Antex Solder Tip Cleaning Wire Sponge with Holder is great alternative to the damp sponge method of cleaning soldering tips: it does not require water, and it does not reduce the tip temperature. The wire is made from coils of brass, which is softer than the tip plating but harder than the oxidation that forms on the tip.
